Valerie would like to tell us a little of his mother, the love she has for creating art?

At the tender age of 15, I began my dream of fine design. With extensive study, imagination, and a flair for elegance, I created scarves as wearable art.

Collecting rare and luxurious yarn from around the world is a passion that I acquired from my mother Norma Ishak. Over the past 30 years, we have built an incredible collection of rare yarns from across the globe.

Together, We continue to regularly present eye-catching ranges of truly unique luxury accessory made with only the finest fabrics, beads, lace and feathers in the world.

As began the relationship of mother and daughter in this beautiful world of creating art?

I started to experiment with pattern making and my first construction of custom pieces. I an enterprising youngster, I designed pieces and my Mom "Norma Ishak" knitted the pieces for friends and family. Soon, the fashionable women in my community began to notice my impeccable craftsmanship and taste, and decided that they, too, needed a piece from my designs.

That you tell us, what it means to share this work with the most beautiful world (mother) that usually does not occur?

The line is named after my mother " Norma Ishak" in honor of her who always had faith in me and instilled a self-belief in ones own abilities and that as a woman I am no lesser person.

It is sometimes challenging to work with a person that is so close to you because a lot of emotions are involved. But I won't trade it for anything. Both of us won't settle for anything less than perfection in materials and craftsmanship. Our quest for perfection results in production of the finest unique scarves for customers who demand to be ensconced in absolute luxury. That is what our vision is.

Tell us the daily relationship with his mother?

I start my day with my mom selecting the perfect yarn from our rare and vintage personal collection to start knitting the pattern of the latest collection. Our trusted team of craftsman and my mom hand-knit all of the scarves in the collection, whether they are one-of-a-kind or production pieces. My mom personally trains each woman on how to knit the appropriate design for each collection. Although design takes up the bulk of my time, I always find time to spend it with my family and friends. My mom and I have a close relationship. We share a lot of things, we both love to travel to scour material that deem perfect for our designs.

What would be the key moment, where Valerie realizes, that his talent was to design?

I always have a keen sense of style and innate ability to match patterns and colors.

Crafting my skills of knitting, needlepoint and lace-making while in Catholic school, I took to the study of my crafts by the age of 15. Encouraged by the Nuns, I began to experiment with patternmaking and my first construction of custom pieces. At the time, I began gifting them to friends and family, an accomplishment for a girl still in her teenage years. My craftsmanship began to create quite the buzz around my small town. Women began to take note of these beautiful scarves on the most fashionable of women and decided that they needed a piece from my designs as well.

Which was the moment, where love and the art of creating made of the two, and an unbreakable loop?

As an enterprising youngster growing up in Lebanon, inspired by Chanel and YSL, I made special pieces as gifts for friends and family.

Hard work followed as I honed my skills of knitting, needlepoint and lace making. Extensive study of textiles and trends, a far-reaching imagination and a keen eye for style all paid off as my creations began to take form with a maturity and elegance that caught the eye of fashionable strangers. Soon, unsolicited orders began to come in from local socialites and royal families.

Which is the source of inspiration for your designs?

Sometimes my inspiration comes from images I come across or structures and objects in my environment, but mostly I am inspired by yarn, color, and the act of knitting. My designs often utilize simple stockinet and garter stitch, showcasing beautiful yarns. Simple, clear lines mixed with some interesting detail or shape appeal to her. Some of my new designs often feature vintage detailing and use of French lace. My most opulent pieces to date have featured semiprecious stones. Rare and luxurious materials allow me to offer the finest of neckwear for any woman that needs something small to call her own.

Thread is a symbol that unites beautiful things, we could describe?

Each piece we create is handmade and custom designed; every piece has a story, a detail unlike any other, and a tale for the woman that is to call it her own.

A painter needs a brush, the writer a pen; Valerie takes thread, to make art?

I spare no expense in acquiring her yarns and materials, as they are the lifeblood of my designs. I will not settle for anything less than perfection in materials and craftsmanship. My quest for perfection results in production of the finest unique scarves for customers who demand to be ensconced in absolute luxury.

Valerie tells us which was the most beautiful design created by his hands?

NORMA ISHAK scarves are designed so that they can be worn as jewelry pieces, day after day to accessorize an outfit.

My yarns are flown in from the premier manufacturers in Europe. Mongolia offers the best cashmere, while my lace comes from Switzerland and the Bretagne region of France. Silks come from the finest silk ateliers in Paris. Whilst, outside of Europe, my feathers are shipped from the most exotic African birds and Peruvian Alpaca's shed their finest wools for my creations. At times, my pieces feature beads from Japan and crystals from the house of Swarovski. My most opulent pieces to date have featured semiprecious stones.

The climate on Earth is changing; you believes is by the hand of man or nature itself?

We, as humans, sometimes don't respect planet earth. We don't think about future generations. If every person start recycling and stop littering, it will be a great step towards mother earth.

We recently started recycling a lot of the yarn. Take a look at this piece made of vintage shredded yarn.

Valerie thanks for your time, can you greet to our readers around the world?

I wanted to thank everyone and to always remember that Style is individual and cannot be replicated. Check out our latest Bridal Collection, You won't be disappointed

* Tell US about your beginnings in your native Bulgaria?
I was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria. When I was ten years old I got accepted to the National School of Dance Art and began my dancing training. In 2008 I moved to Los Angeles to live with my mother.
* I would like to known from your point of view if a dancer is born or is made through daily training?
I believe that a dancer is born. Because, yes you can practice and perfect your technique, but if you don't have the passion and will within you it all wouldn't matter.
* To be a dancer you have to be tall ?
You don't necessary have to be tall, but a dancer needs to be graceful and athletic.
* What is the diet of the dancer?
Definitely eat a lot of protein. It is important have a powerful breakfast to give you strength.
* How many hours of daily training does a dancer need?
At least five hours a day, six days a week.
* The body of a dancer must be thin and athletic, to perform the perfect dance?
The body of a dancer must be in shape in order to create a beautiful movement and make it look effortless.
* What is for you to be a professional dancer?
Right now I am training and auditioning for ballet companies. My dream is to get into the American Ballet Theatre in NY, and eventually transfer to the Royal Ballet I London.

* What is ballet for Elena?
For me ballet is a way of expressing myself; I'm usually very reserved as a person, but trough dance I can freely express how I am feeling and hopefully make people relate to my emotions.
* How would you define the ballet?
Ballet is freedom. Ballet is being able to let go and allow your body to take control.
When I was a little girl I loved watching Disney movies (I still do) and I would always want to be the princess, with ballet I get to be that princess and I get to write my own story and show it to the world.
* Ballet steps are encoded, tell us about how are they made?
Like I said ballet is a way of expressing oneself. Ballet was created in the 17th century in France by Louis XIV and that's why all of the ballet terminology is in French. Ballet was danced by the royalties and every movement has a meaning. Most of the time they wanted to show their clothes, jewelry and shoes.
* The weather is changing all over the world do you think is because of humans
or nature itself?
I believe it's nature. In my opinion there are too many people in the world and mother nature is finding a way to fight back by creating natural disasters and because of them the planet Earth has moved its axis and that is what's creating the weather changes.

* Thank you for your time with our magazine "Viscion" could you please send greetings to our readers around the world.
Thank you Marco Munoz for this opportunity to be in "Viscion" magazine!
To the readers I want to remind that we are human. We have challenges and we make mistakes but those are the things that we learn from, the things that make us stronger and even more motivated to keep going and to show the world who we are! "Falling down is part of life.. Getting back up is LIVING!" Don't give up n your dream, and don't be afraid to fight for what you want. Thank you so much for supporting this magazine!
